Yannis Kontos wins the 2005 Fujifilm European Press Photographer of the Year Award in the Europe Category.

He was also the winner of this prestigiuos award in 2004 for his coverage during the Iraq War.

These pictures were made in Greece while Kontos was covering the mood of the country prior to the 2004 Summer Oylmpics.
