Coming from a country that experiences conflict and volatility on a daily basis would heighten anyone’s
perspective on life. Ziv Koren grew up in Israel in the 1970s and ‘80s but his later desire to document
the conflict in his homeland through the medium of photography wasn’t always there. So, what led him
into the dangerous and life-threatening world of being a photojournalist in one of the world’s most troubled regions?
