Polaris Images is pleased to announce that, for the 6th consecutive year, it will be present at the 21st annual International Festival of Photojournalism “Visa pour l’Image – Perpignan 2009”. The Polaris stand will be operational in the Palais des Congres from August 30th through September 6th. Photographers in attendance will include, Ziv Koren, Scout Tufankjian, Newsha Tavakolian, Sarah Caron, Hermann Bredehorst, Adriana Zehbrauskas, and others.

Visa pour l’Image will feature the work of Sarah Caron in the exhibit and projection, "Talibanistan". Between October 2007 and May 2009, Sarah Caron went to Pakistan five times, staying for extended periods. Her report on the Pashtun region shows the everyday life of men and women caught up in the midst of the conflict over the strategic political and economic interests of the 21st century.

Scout Tufankjian will be featured in a projection of her images from Barack Obama's Presidential campaign, as well as at a book signing, at the Couvent des Minimes, of her New York Times bestseller, "Yes We Can: Barack Obama's History-Making Presidential Campaign".
