U.S. Marines attend to a wounded comrade that was shot during an exchange of fire at the Saddam medical city hospital. The Marine died shortly after of his wounds. The Pentagon identified the soldier as being Cpl. Jesus A. Gonzalez, 22, of Indio, Calif., who was killed while manning a checkpoint in Baghdad. He was assigned to 1st Tank Battalion, 1st Marine Division, Twenty-Nine Palms, Calif.
